On June 4, 2016, District 5790 will be inducting Mary Ann McDuff as District Governor for the Rotary Year 2016-2017 at the Denton Country Club in Argyle, Texas. The event will be hosted by the Denton Rotary Club (Mary Ann's home Rotary Club).
 
 
Installation Dinner Scheduled for Rotary District Governor
 
Denton, Texas — An installation ceremony for Mary Ann McDuff, as governor for Rotary International district 5790, is scheduled for June 4, 2016 at the Denton Country Club, 1213 Country Club Rd, Argyle, TX. As governor, McDuff will coordinate the district administrative functions and support the international, vocational, youth and community service projects of the 70 clubs in district 5790. She will assume office July 1, 2016 and will serve through June 2017.
McDuff will be one of over 500 Rotarians worldwide serving as a district governor and will be responsible training and support, organizing new Rotary clubs and strengthening existing ones.
 
About Mary Ann McDuff
     A Fort Worth, Texas native, Mary Ann McDuff, has made Denton, Texas her home for over 40 years. She retired as Director of Academic Financial Services at Texas Woman’s University several years ago after more than 30 years of full-time service. For these past several years, she has immersed herself fully into fulfilling her retirement goal and dream – expansion of community engagement, activism, and service in the North Central Texas area through Rotary. She served as the Denton Rotary Club’s first female president during 1998-99.
