Did the Earth Shift July 1st?

Did you feel the earth shift on July 1 when Rotary International and Our Rotary Foundation realigned?

After years of strategic planning, preparation, and pilot programs we now have unified our areas of focus. Rotary clubs serve communities around the world, each with unique concerns and needs. Rotarians have continually adapted and improved the way they respond to those needs, taking on a broad range of service projects.

·       Peace and conflict prevention/resolution

·       Disease prevention and treatment

·       Water and sanitation

·       Maternal and child health

·       Basic education and literacy

·       Economic and community development

We now have some great resources to help you and your club seek projects.

AREA of FOCUS ADVISORS

Six experienced Rotarians from District 5790, each of whom has special expertise are available to provide guidance and advise.

ROTARIAN ACTION GROUPS

Their purpose is to provide assistance and support to Rotary clubs and districts in planning and implementing service projects in their respective areas of expertise. They are autonomous, international groups organized by committed Rotarians, Rotarians’ spouses, and Rotaractors who have expertise in and a passion for a particular type of service.
