Ben Bruce, Arlington Highlands RC, Earns the Rotary Builder Award
Ben Bruce is a new Rotarian.  He is a Charter member of the Rotary Club of Arlington Highlands, chartered this year.  He is a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam era.  He is a long-time resident of Arlington, and he graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington.  He retired from Siemens Corporation in 2007 as a Senior Vice President of a business subdivision in Postal Automation.  Since retirement, Ben has founded his own logistics-consulting firm, Trinity Technical Group, and serves as Chief Operations Officer.  Ben retired in 2015 after volunteering 30 years to law enforcement in Arlington and Dalworthington Gardens.

The reason Ben Bruce is receiving the Rotary Builder Award is for the amazing work he has done with the Bowie High School Mentoring Program.  Thanks to his work with the project we are now starting up the Interact Club there again.  That, to me, is the definition of building clubs.  His work has also brought members in our club together and that has built us up.
