Matching Grant Committee Seeking Additional Grant Partners
The District 5790 Matching Grant Committee is seeking additional clubs to partner with clubs already working on international project grants. If you have a few hundred dollars or up to a few thousand you can participate with other clubs in their grant financing by donating this cash and becoming a partner to the grant. This must occur during the application process. So time is of the essence.
This is an excellent way to become acquainted with the Matching Grant process paving the way for future participation in Future Vision.

Here are two opportunities for grants that are currently seeking additional partners:
1) Partner with the Rotary Club of Grapevine who is working with the Estoi Palace International Rotary Club located in Faro, Algarve, Portugal. Their project is to purchase a truck to pick up perishable items from various providers and deliver them to a food bank in Algarve, Portugal.
This project will serve an approximate 20,000 people.
2) Partner with the Rotary Club of Hurst-Euless-Bedford (H-E-B) and the Rotary Club of Kolkata, West Bengal, India to provide Intra Ocular Lens ( IOL) Implant Cataract Surgery preventing blindness of 1000 people.
