The Visitor Membership Packet
The visitor information packet is an important part of the closure process in gaining new club members.
Since our August 17 membership seminar, there have been several requests for “club information” that should be included in the visitor education packet that includes not only information about Rotary…but also information about your club.
Recently, I received three documents from Kurt Tauzel, current President of Arlington West, that addresses three important documents that need to be enclosed in the visitor membership packet. These well written documents are attached, and may serve as a guide for developing your individual club inserts.
The three club educational page guides are attached and now permanently available within your District newsletter in the membership section. They are:
1) A one-page summary about what your club does,
2) A one page summary about the cost involved with being a Rotarian, and
3) A one page information and application document.

The follow-up invitation-to-join letter asks that the applicant bring the information and application page to the next meeting…an important part of the closure process.
