DG'S MESSAGE

There's still one month to go!
Don't stop playing! You can still reach your goals!

Did you know that Rotary International makes decisions based in part on our year-end membership numbersThe more members we have, the more say-so we have in those decisions!

Rotary Strong is our District-Wide initiative to help you finish this year and start next year as strong as possible with a three-step process:
  • CONNECT with and RETAIN your current members!
  • RE-CONNECT - Bring former Rotarians back into the conversation
  • GROW - Continue to ATTRACT and bring in New Members!
So, please don't wait until July to bring new members on board!  Let's bring on as many as we can this month!

Also - please don't just write off members who have not been active - give them a call and tell them how important their membership is!

Let's finish this year and start next year ROTARY STRONG!

"9 for 9" Baseball Game in Support of the Rotary Foundation!

Starting 1 May 2026, donors who make a new outright gift of $9,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation will be eligible to purchase a ticket to join Trustee Stephanie Urchick on 16 September 2026 to cheer on the Texas Rangers in a suite at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, as they take on the Boston Red Sox. $9,000 for 9 innings of Major League Baseball – the “9 for 9” Baseball Game – will result in at least $360,000 in new gifts to The Rotary Foundation! Gifts can be in support of any Rotary Foundation program, grant, or Area of Focus.

Only 40 tickets are available for the “9 for 9” baseball game. Tickets cost $275 each, which donors will purchase separately from their $9,000 gift to The Rotary Foundation. Ticket purchases are not eligible for a tax receipt. Tickets include a group tour of Globe Life Field before watching the game from a catered party suite. Each donor is limited to purchasing up to 4 tickets, provided that the donor has contributed at least $9,000 per ticket to The Rotary Foundation since 1 May 2026 but before 1 September 2026. Attendees are responsible for all other expenses, such as accommodation, transportation, and parking.

Tickets will run out fast, so interested Donors are encouraged to register soon. Contact Harvey Newcomb, senior principal gifts officer, at harvey.newcomb@rotary.org or +1-312-504-6151.
