Every year the sitting District Governor recognizes one club in the entire district as the Governor's Cup winner. This year, 2022-2023 District Governor Dan Steele selected the Decatur Rotary Club as the District 5790 Governor's Cup winner.

The actual Governor's Cup trophy will be awarded at the June 29th Decatur RC Installation Dinner. Decatur RC will have the privilege of displaying the cup at all its events for the next 12 months.

As if the Governor's cup were not enough recognition for this vibrant club, the Decatur RC also received the 2022-2023 Blood Drive award.

Capping off all the recognition awards for the Decatur Rotary Club is the recognition from the Rotary Foundation as a 100% Paul Harris Fellow club.
