There is an old saying within the Rotary Folklore that stipulates that in order to have a great Rotary meeting, 3 things are required:
A Nice Venue
Good Food
A Great Speaker
Of those 3, the greatest challenge for a Club Service committee is consistently coming up with great speakers for every meeting. Speakers that are interesting, relevant and meaningful for your club members that speak on topics that will expand Rotary member horizons are not always easy to find week in and week out. And, it is for that reason that the District 5790 District Services team has instituted a Speakers Bureau. We have a list of 71 tried and true speakers that have spoken at Rotary meetings just like yours. The list was assembled from recommendations from Rotary members that have heard them speak. This list is updated periodically to add folks you have recommended and delete folks that are no longer available to speak. The Dec 1, 2016 update is now available on the District 5790 Website. Click here to view. Please feel free to contact Speakers Bureau chair Derrick Kinney with suggestions for this list.

Through our Foundation, Rotary members have supported thousands of projects to provide clean water, fight disease, promote peace, provide basic education, and grow local economies. We’ve also been a leader in the fight to eradicate polio worldwide.
