Club Presidents and Membership Chairs are often frustrated by the challenge of turning around a stagnant membership growth pattern in their club. They have a vibrant Rotary club with engaged members that are committed to doing good in their communities. One would think that clubs such as these would be new member magnets with community members wanting to join. Yet as most any current or past president knows or any membership committee chair has learned, the task simply is not that easy.

 

The purpose of this Presidents and Membership Committee edition of the Membership Madness Dispatch is to share ideas. Ideally, club presidents and membership chairs will e-mail me a few lines regarding a membership initiative that has worked for your club that I can post in the next bi-weekly edition (e-mail John Pokorny). We also plan to post pearls of wisdom from RI and the District 5790 Membership Committee.
