Welcome to the first edition of the Membership Madness Dispatch. The Membership Madness Dispatch is a weekly publication intended to encourage our Vibrant Clubs to share the joys of Rotary membership with local business and community members by inviting them to become Rotarians themselves.
So, DG Mary Ann McDuff, can we increase the membership of District 5790 clubs by 10% before June 30, 2017? To quote DG Mary Ann, "YES WE CAN!
The District 5790 Membership team set some very aggressive membership goals for the 2016-2017. After 3 successive years of almost 3% per year membership growth, the committee decided the district was ready to bust wide open with a 10% growth plan. Is 10% membership growth an unreasonable goal for your club? Without a doubt, it is a stretch goal. But, our District Governor Mary Ann McDuff, confidently embraced that goal because she knows that every one of our 69 vibrant clubs has a can do attitude. The members of those clubs are hard working, imaginative and innovative Rotarians that will make it happen.
