Cross Timbers Rotary honors Rocky Salmon with Vocational Excellence Award
Rocky Salmon, Lewisville ISD
Mr. Salmon has filled the role of department chair this year and has been tireless in working with new staff to get students ready for advancement in classes and better prepared for graduation. In addition, he has taken a leadership role on the campus to improve campus morale and professional development opportunities on campus, as well as with district protocols and requirements. He is the first to volunteer and is usually the last person standing to help evaluate and update for a better result in the future. Mr. Salmon has taken district and campus directives and enthusiastically supported all planning, encouraging and supporting new and veteran staff members alike. He is a valuable edition to our staff and we are better for him being here.
