August is kick-off for Governor's Blood Challenge

Has your club established a Blood Drive Goal? How many blood drives are you planning? Did you know that Rotary's roll in blood drives is not just getting membership to give blood? Our roll is to encourage the entire community to eligible blood donors to give blood. We understand that less than 30% of the population is able to give blood. So, our job is to get as many of our friends and neighbors as possible to a blood mobile where they can be screened and give blood if they are able. Rotary Clubs throughout District 5790 are being asked to host blood drives in their community throughout the year.
