Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Our District has embarked on an exciting new program - we look to you and your club to play a key role. The reviews of the first three classes were great -

The education I received during the Institute for Leadership was excellent. It is both informative and interactive, creating thought about how Rotary makes the world better and providing a pipeline of leadership to insure Rotary's continued success. As well as providing leadership training that is invaluable in our professional lives.

Todd Tubbs, Rotary Club of Cleburne

We call this program "Rotary International District 5790 Institute for Leadership", or simply I f L - designed to develop the skills that help individuals become great leaders in Rotary and our communities; it now is an official Rotary International emphasis. Some people are describing it as a RYLA program for Rotarians.

The program is a highly interactive two day session about the dynamic process of leading. This is not material that can be learned through texts or by attending PETS nor does it duplicate any training previously offered in our district.

The next program will be held at the DFW Marriott (near Texas Motors Speedway), for leaders at all all Rotary Clubs in District 5790.

Saturday, October 29 9:30 am - evening
Sunday, October 30 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

We accept only 24 participants, so enroll now! The tuition fee per student is $299.00 which includes everything: books, materials, food, hotel, etc. There will be two students per room, but we can make provisions for single occupancy for an additional fee of $50.00 per person. Even if a student lives locally, he/she needs to stay in the hotel as part of the learning experience. The logistics of the course are detailed in the enclosed Registration Form.

Each Rotary Club will be given the opportunity to send members, please encourage registration as soon as possible using the enclosed Rotary District 5790 I f L Application. We suggest that the club pay for the tuition. Should you have any additional questions, please contact any of the I f L Committee Members.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Chuck
